The good, the bad, and the ugly. There were some crazy eyebrow trends in 2017, and I’m here to tell you all about them!
Feather brows were a big trend this year. No one new why because this was a brow trend that was unwearable for everyday and very time consuming!
Another big eyebrow trend this year was taken from hair inspiration. Braided eyebrows! There were many mixed opinions on this, people either loved it or hated it! However, just like the feather brows, this took a lot of skill and probably more than one person!
Oh wavy brows... This trend was one that started as a joke, but led people to start really playing around with different eyebrow shapes and styles! Although some might find this ugly and unappealing, many viewed it as a great way to express your creative style!
Another big trend was colorful brows! With the big trend in colorful hair, people began matching their hair color with everything from shoes to brows!
Finally, on to the more wearable and natural brow trends of 2017. Microblading became very popular this year! For people with sparse brows, and no hair, this was very trendy. However as the year went on people with full brows tried this too. They wanted to add thickness or a more defined shape, which also ended up being very popular!
The last eyebrow trend of 2017 I will be talking about is natural brows. In 2016 people wanted the very carved out “Instagram brows”. With the perfect ombre from light to dark, starting in the front. That trend was a big hit or miss. Many people loved it, but many also hated it. However this year, the trend of having full grown out brows that weren’t perfectly groomed took over the internet and stormed through social media!
